Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –An update to a story we brought you last week: The bear that broke into a home in Durango and attacked a teenager while she was sleeping has been caught. Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Durango division said the bear was trapped and euthanized after it broke into another home a day after the girl’s attack. Bear break-ins continue to happen in Durango leading authorities to urge residents to keep their windows and doors locked to prevent further incidents.
