Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – The State Supreme Court issuing two stays over permits for Project Jupiter down in Doña Ana County.. This morning the court issued an order granting a stay, on an emergency drilling permit for water from a new well for Project Jupiter in Doña Ana County. The stay was requested by the Center for Biological Diversity.
On Sunday, the Supreme Court in a unanimous order, granted a temporary stay that will pause proceedings for an air permit for Project Jupiter.
The stay was granted so they can consider a petition filed by Santa Fe-based New Energy Economy, the court saying the New Mexico Environment Department cannot proceed with a public hearing into the data center’s air quality permit application because it has not established the project’s fuel source.
