U.S and Mexico conduct joint exercise along Rio Grande in El Paso, TX
Albuquerque, Nm (KKOB) — Mexican national Marco Antonio Dominguez-Barranco, an undocumented migrant is facing charges of immigrant smuggling involving children. A criminal complaint affidavit alleges that during a border crossing in El Paso Dominguez-Barranco stated he was looking for his godchildren, causing CBP officers to suspect he may have been associated with a recent smuggling event involving two minors. During his interview Dominguez-Barranco admitted that he had participated in the smuggling event, crossed back into Mexico, and was returning illegally to the U.S. in order to transport the children to Denver.
