Timberon, NM (KKOB) – A boil water advisory is in effect for residents in Timberon after E. coli bacteria were discovered in the water supply on Aug. 14. Residents are asked to boil their water for at least three minutes, then let it cool before using.
According to a post on the Timberon Water and Sanitation District website, boiled or bottled water should be used until water system operations personnel are able to disinfect affected areas in the town’s distribution system.
