Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Frijoles Fire is now 12 percent contained with over 9300 acres burned. The fire is moving further east into the Pecos Wilderness. NM 503 between County Road 98 and State Road 76 remains closed. The communities of Nambe and Espanola will continue to experience unhealthy air quality today due to the large amount of smoke from the fire. A community meeting is planned for Tuesday in Santa Fe with a location to be announced later today.
