Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque man is in jail this morning after his arrest for an armed robbery that happened at a Dollar General on the 4200 block of Central Ave SW who later barricaded himself inside a Speedway gas station on Coors and Arenal. The APD SWAT team was called to the scene and it took several hours before 42-year old Leonard Hidalgo was taken into custody. According to jail records, Hidalgo is charged with armed robbery, and several other charges.
He is being held without bond at MDC.
