Several agencies responded to a drowning at Brantley Lake in Eddy County on Sunday. The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office reported that the drowning was that of a child. There was no indication of foul play or any evidence to suggest alcohol or drugs were factors in the drowning. The investigation is ongoing.
