Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – It took nearly 40 years, but a local man was sentenced to 144 years in prison for sexual abuse of children. Rollie Bruvold was found guilty by a Bernalillo County jury of 14 counts of sexual abuse of children under the age of 13. The abuse of two girls began in the 1980’s and continued for years.
Bruvold is already serving a prison sentence for a similar crime in Sandoval County. He was sentenced Friday to 144 years after his conviction.
