ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico State Fair is introducing a new Park and Ride service for the 2026 fair in an effort to reduce traffic congestion and provide visitors with a faster way to access the fairgrounds.
The service will operate on weekends only, with buses transporting fairgoers between Coronado Center and the New Mexico State Fairgrounds on Sept. 12-13 and Sept. 19-20.
According to fair officials, riders will receive expedited entry into the fair after completing security screenings before boarding the shuttle.
“Our best, fastest and safest way to get to the Fair is utilizing Park and Ride,” said State Fair General Manager Dan Mourning. “Not only does Park and Ride allow visitors to skip the traffic, but it also allows fairgoers expedited entry into the Fair.”
