Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The Albuquerque Police Department is launching a second round of its popular “Virtual Ride Alongs,” giving the community a behind-the-scenes look at officers’ day-to-day work across the city. Beginning Friday, community members can follow along with officers through the “stories” feature on APD’s Facebook and Instagram pages. The virtual ride alongs will highlight both proactive and reactive police work, while giving viewers a firsthand look at the wide range of calls officers respond to throughout Albuquerque. The stories will also be saved to Instagram highlight reels, allowing community members to view past ride alongs after they are posted.
