ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a rollover crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque.
The crash happened just before 8 a.m. on southbound I-25 near Rio Bravo Boulevard. Authorities say a vehicle rolled over, leaving debris scattered along the right side of the roadway.
Traffic slowed to a crawl and eventually came to a standstill as emergency crews responded and worked to clear the scene. Bernalillo County Fire Rescue confirmed one person was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The interstate reopened around 10 a.m. after crews finished clearing the crash site.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
