Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the area of San Mateo and Ross Ave S.E.
Officers responded to reports of a crash around 6:30 p.m. An elderly man who was hit by a vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital. He later died as a result of his wounds.
Southbound lanes of San Mateo were closed while the APD Fatal Crash Unit investigate the crash.
