Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Tomasita’s, the popular New Mexican restaurant on the Pan American freeway in Albuquerque that was forced to close due to a fire in September will reopen in a fie days. The blaze forced staff and guests to evacuate the building, and it was put out in about 20 minutes, with nobody injured. The owner of the restaurant said an electrical issue caused the fire and they were forced to close the location as repairs were made.

Now, after a little less than a month of being closed, the restaurant posted on their Facebook saying they are getting ready to welcome guests back. The official official reopening will be next Monday, Nov. 9th.
