Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A Rio Rancho man who traded sexual videos of children will be serving a decade in prison. In 2024, Daniel Stumbo used the Telegram App to trade videos of children being sexually abused.
Authorities in New Mexico got a tip from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children that someone was sharing the videos.
Investigators with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office traced the videos to Stumbo.
In May, he pled guilty to two counts of distribution and one count of possession of a videos of sexual exploitation of children. He will now serve 10 years state prison.
