Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A siamang at a zoo is drawing attention after interacting with a bird that entered its enclosure. Staff say Eve picked up the chick and displayed nurturing behavior, including holding and grooming it. Caregivers were able to safely recover the bird after Eve brought it to the edge of the habitat when prompted. The chick was not injured and has since been reunited with its mother.
