Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Too few vendors is resulting in the closure of the New Mexico Indian Market, in just over a month since it opened. The market’s founder Kevin Wilson said the market had strong customer support after its grand opening, but vendor numbers dropped in the weeks that followed. Wilson added that business and financial and obligations have been hard to meet.” From port-a-potties to insurance to lobbies, and not having enough vendors was the main concern as to keeping the market open or not. The market will still be open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. before its final closure.
