Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –More than a dozen suspects,ranging in age from 25 to 68, from Texas and Lovington, are accused and charged federally of stealing Permian Basin oil and selling it. The oil was found to be sold to others at prices below West Texas Intermediate pricing, which is used to price crude oil for much of the U.S. Each face a maximum penalty of five years in prison for conspiracy and ten years on each count of interstate transportation of stolen property.
