Valencia County, NM (KKOB) – A man was killed in Valencia County after an ATV crash. According to the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Luis Gamboa from Peralta, was driving north on Don Pasqual Road when it left the road and hit a guardrail, causing the ATV to roll over killing Gamboa.
Deputies said there is no evidence showing another vehicle was involved and wanted to let residents know that social media reports indicating that the crash was a result of a shooting involving VCSO deputies is false.
