Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association has opened scholarship applications for agriculture students in the state. NMCGA President Tom Paterson reports there are several scholarship opportunities, including: the 2026 Fall Scholarship Program, Class III of the Linda Davis Young Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy, and the 2026 Allied Industry Mentorship Program. The program also provides participating businesses with an opportunity to connect with emerging talent, introduce students to careers within their companies, and identify potential future employees. Applications for all three opportunities are due Oct. 15th. Eligible applicants must meet the membership requirements outlined for each scholarship and be in good academic standing.
