Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A crash this morning (Wed) left two people dead in Santa Fe. The crash occurred as a couple were parked on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 84/285. Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies arrived and found county medical personnel treating a 74 year old woman and a 77 year old man for their injuries. The woman died at the scene and the man died after being taken to the hospital. Investigators found a southbound vehicle left the road and struck the couple as they were outside their vehicle. The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Division is investigating the cause of the crash. The couple’s identities have not been released.
