Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Bernalillo County has announced new automated speed enforcement cameras are now active on east and westbound Paseo Del Norte near the Rio Grande overpass. There will be a warning period until September 30th during which time drivers who exceed the posted speed limit will receive warnings rather than citations. Beginning October 1st citations will be issued for violations. The cameras are part of the County’s efforts to improve roadway safety, encourage safer driving behavior and reduce speed related crashes.
