Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque police have released new details about a fatal crash on the city’s West Side that killed a pedestrian Monday morning. Investigators say an adult man was walking west along the shoulder of eastbound Central Avenue near 106th Street Northwest when he was struck by a white box truck traveling in the right lane. The pedestrian died at the scene. Police say the driver remained on scene and was arrested on outstanding warrants.
APD’s Fatal Crash Team is continuing to investigate.
