ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The countdown is on for one of New Mexico’s largest running events.
Organizers of the Duke City Marathon say there are now just two months remaining until race day, with runners set to take to Albuquerque streets on Oct. 18.
Participants can choose from multiple race options, including marathon, half-marathon and shorter-distance events. Organizers are encouraging runners who have not yet signed up to register soon while discounted early-registration pricing remains available.
The annual event attracts runners from across New Mexico and beyond, offering participants a chance to compete while experiencing some of Albuquerque’s most recognizable neighborhoods and landmarks.
Race organizers say preparations are continuing ahead of the October event and are urging participants to begin training as race day approaches.
Additional race information and registration details are available through the Duke City Marathon website.
