ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating the death of an infant in southeast Albuquerque.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers responded Thursday afternoon to a residence in the 300 block of Grove Street SE after receiving a call for service.
When officers arrived, they located a deceased infant inside the home.
Police have not released additional information about the circumstances surrounding the death, including the age of the infant or a possible cause of death.
APD says the investigation remains active, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
