Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A woman accused as a fifth suspect in a deadly shooting near Frontier Restaurant will remain in custody as the case moves forward. Zakiya Umstead is charged in the May 2026 killing of 23-year-old Eden Rock. Police say Rock was lured to the area and attacked by multiple suspects who had been waiting nearby. Investigators say surveillance video shows the group ambushing Rock before shooting him. Umstead was arrested in Texas and brought back to New Mexico. All five suspects are now in custody awaiting trial.
