Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – As construction on i-25 continues, drivers will be moving back to the inside lanes near the median between Candelaria Road and Montgomery Boulevard. Starting tonight, northbound I-25 traffic will shift. Southbound I-25 traffic will shift starting the night of June 9 through June 10th. After the shifts, crews say three lanes in each direction will stay open during daytime hours between Comanche Road and Montgomery Boulevard. Once the shifts are completed, three travel lanes in each direction will remain open during daytime hours between Comanche Road and Montgomery Boulevard.
One thing not changing in the affected area is the speed limit, which remains reduced to 55 mph through the work zone.
