Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Jason Eck and his UNM Lobos will be ready for their close-ups this fall. On Wednesday, the Mountain West Conference announced its broadcast package which features eight nationally televised Lobo games on the schedule, with a possibility for a ninth game added. Three of four non-conference games are scheduled for national television, which includes a pair of road games. Five league games are also set for national TV with three on the road. The Lobos home opener will air on FS1 at 8 p.m. Sept. 5th. The Rio Grande Rivalry with New Mexico State is set for a 1:30 p.m. start on CBS Sports Network Sept. 26th. The last time the Rio Grande Rivalry was played on national TV was in 2011.
