Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A new STEM Lab is coming to Edward Gonzales Elementary school with an official ceremony on Wednesday. The new Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation STEM Lab was made possible through a partnership with the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and ExxonMobil. The new lab expands high-quality STEM access at the elementary school level providing an early interest in future STEM careers. The new lab brings resources into APS schools at no cost to the district due to the power of strategic partnerships. One of the three pillars of the Cal Ripken Sr., Foundation is a National Stem Center Initiative.
