The 90-year-old, family-owned company cited the need to restructure financial obligations and strengthen the company, pointing out the effect of “prolonged freeway construction” on its Comanche location. They also referenced inflationary and tariff-related cost pressures affecting the whole industry. The company stated that the filing represents a reorganization — not a liquidation. They will continue operating their two Albuquerque locations, fulfilling all existing and new customer orders, and honoring all gift cards.
