Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque man is sentenced to life in prison plus six years for killing a 60-year-old Albuquerque man in 2023. Jarrett Chacon was sentenced for the murder of 60-year-old Larry Norsworthy. Chacon was found guilty in August of this year of several charges including First-Degree Murder,
On April 3, 2023, Chacon forced his way into the Norsworthy’s apartment in the 200 block of Charleston in Northeast Albuquerque and beat the man to death.
Following the murder, Chacon took Norsworthy’s wallet, credit cards, cell phone, and stole Norsworthy’s vehicle and took off with a woman in the car.
Jasmine Trujillo, was Chacon’s girlfriend. She pled guilty to second-degree murder. She was sentenced to 25 years in prison and testified against Chacon
