Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Two suspects turned themselves in to Santa Fe Police on Sunday. Both had arrest warrants for their role in a drive-by shooting in the Las Acequias neighborhood on October 15th. Samuel Perea of Pecos and Diego Bencomo of Santa Fe are facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting at an unoccupied dwelling, tampering with evidence and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The two were booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. A 15 year old from Pecos was already in custody for his involvement in the shooting. An occupied home and vehicle were struck by the gunfire. No injuries were reported. Santa Fe PD is asking anyone with information on the incident to give them a call.
