Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Parents and residents who live in Albuquerque have a chance to offer input on the APS budget for 2027-28. The APS board and Superintendent Gabriella Duran Blakey announce two meetings and one of them is today Oct. 13 and another tomorrow.
Today’s meeting is from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Alice and Bruce King Educational Complex, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE. It will be livestreamed on the APS Board of Education’s YouTube channel and available for later viewing.
Tomorrow Wednesday’s meeting is also from 6-7:30 p.m. at Truman Middle School, 9400 Benavides Road SW.
The district’s budget is a months-long process and must be completed by spring to present to the state Public Education Department. How much money APS receives is largely dependent on the 2027 state legislative session.
