Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – With this being the first weekend of the International Balloon Fiesta, organizers want to remind visitors what you can and cannot bring to Balloon Fiesta Park.
Guests can bring bags, backpacks, folding chairs, food and nonalcoholic beverages. Among the prohibited items include firearms, including those carried by off-duty law enforcement personnel, knives, Tasers, alcohol, narcotics, drones, glass or ceramic items, any noisemakers like air horns.
This is an election year, so no political paraphernalia. No pets are allowed except trained service animals. Smoking is also prohibited inside Balloon Fiesta Park. Balloon Fiesta encouraged guests to dress in layers, wear comfortable walking shoes.
