ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Isotopes return to Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park this week for their second-to-last homestand of the 2026 season, hosting the Tacoma Rainiers in a six-game series beginning Tuesday.
The homestand features several themed nights, giveaways, and special events for fans.
Women in Sports Night – Sept. 2
Wednesday’s game will celebrate Women in Sports Night, recognizing women who have made significant contributions to athletics in New Mexico. Those being honored include:
- Amy Beggin, UNM Athletics Director of Compliance and former Lobos basketball player
- Sandy Lemon, LPGA professional and longtime golf coach
- Bella Seibert, Special Olympics athlete
- Chrissy Baines, Albuquerque Isotopes General Manager
American Sign Language Night – Sept. 4
Friday’s game will feature the club’s annual American Sign Language Night, with:
- ASL interpreters stationed throughout the ballpark
- The National Anthem performed in ASL
- Player introduction videos translated into ASL
- A “Silent Inning” with no music or PA announcements
- Specialty ASL-themed jerseys and apparel
- A charity jersey auction benefiting deaf and hard-of-hearing programs
Fans can also enjoy a postgame fireworks show, weather permitting.
Hat Giveaway – Sept. 5
Saturday’s game has been moved to 1:35 p.m. and will feature an Isotopes/UNM Lobos hat giveaway for the first 2,000 fans through the gates.
Bark in the Park – Sept. 6
Sunday’s finale includes Bark in the Park, allowing fans to bring their dogs to the ballpark.
Special events include:
- An on-field puppy parade before first pitch
- A Mariachis dog bandana giveaway courtesy of iRepairNM for the first 3,000 fans
- Family activities and Kids Fun Run events
Additional Homestand Activities
Throughout the week, fans can enjoy live DJs, Kids Fun Runs, autograph sessions, and a special homestand food item: a Teriyaki Chicken Bowl featuring grilled chicken skewers, fried rice, vegetables, and teriyaki sauce.
