Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –It was announced last week the passing of founder and long-time owner of Weems Gallery, Mary Ann Weems. Weems started the gallery in 1981 and retired in 2019 to devote more time to her artwork. She also held the annual Weems International Artfest for several decades each November. The gallery, now located near Wyoming and Academy will celebrate 45 years this Fall. No funeral arrangements have been announced.
