SANDIA PARK, N.M. — Residents in the East Mountain area east of Albuquerque will be soon be seeing an expansion of the East Mountain Middle School.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held to celebrate the milestone and hear remarks highlighting East Mountain’s continued success.
Officials say, the expansion project reflects years of planning and investment to meet increasing demand from families seeking rigorous academics, college preparation, championship extracurricular programs, and a strong school culture. The project will create additional classroom space and resources to support future generations of East Mountain students.
Trey Smith, Executive Director of East Mountain said, “This expansion represents an investment in opportunity and a commitment to ensuring more students have access to the educational experience that has made East Mountain successful.”
