Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — City of Albuquerque outdoor pools are set to open for Memorial Day weekend starting May 23. Officials say regular summer hours will begin May 30, with full programs, including swim lessons, starting June 8. Most outdoor pools will be open this summer, except for Sunport Pool, which remains closed for repairs. Some facilities will also see temporary changes, including cooler water at the West Mesa Aquatic Center and closures at Montgomery Pool during upgrades. The city is also expanding spray pad operations, with several locations opening or already in use across Albuquerque.
