Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Gas prices across New Mexico are edging lower this week. AAA New Mexico reports the statewide average for regular unleaded is now $3.93 a gallon, down 14 cents from last week but still more than a dollar higher than this time last year. Farmington currently has the highest average price among major metro areas at $4.15, while Santa Fe is the lowest at $3.87. AAA points to crude oil remaining below $100 a barrel as a factor in the recent decline. Nationally, the average price stands at $4.09 a gallon.
