Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – The Bernalillo County Treasurer’s Office is partnering with local city and county centers to host a series of outreach events designed to help property owners pay their 2026 property taxes online. Property tax bills are currently being mailed countywide. The due date for first-half or full payment is Nov. 10, but property owners have until Dec. 10 to pay before taxes begin to accrue penalties and interest.
The Treasurer’s Office is offering ten outreaches throughout November and December:

County officials say that while these outreach centers primarily support taxpayers responsible for paying their own property taxes, The Treasury staff will be available to assist with any property tax-related questions. As a reminder, property owners with a mortgage should check with their lender to ensure their property taxes are being paid on their behalf. These bills are bluish-purple rather than green.
Property owners should bring their tax bill and preferred payment method to the selected outreach. If a property owner forgets their tax bill, the new online tax bill copy feature can be used on-site. As a reminder, online payments do include a service fee depending on the chosen payment method:
- Debit card: $3.50
- Credit card: 2.29% (minimum $1.50)
- E-check: $0.45
