Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Two New Mexico National Guard service members traveling to Roswell for a Community Emergency Response Team mission were in the right place at the right time. Tech Sgt. Paul Judice and Staff Sgt. Cristian Brown were traveling east about two miles east of the Sedillo exit on Tuesday afternoon when they noticed a tractor-trailer lying on its side alongside the highway. The two realized the incident had just occurred when they saw another motorist quickly pullover and a woman exit the vehicle and run toward the scene. Staff Sgt Brown was able to use a pry bar to reach the driver of the tractor trailer, who appeared to be uninjured. He was safely moved away from his rig.
