ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Visitors and residents will have another entertainment option during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta as Old Town Albuquerque hosts nine days of free live music and cultural performances from Oct. 3 through Oct. 11.
The concert series will take place daily at the Old Town Gazebo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., showcasing a variety of local musicians and dance groups.
Organizers say the lineup will feature a range of musical styles, including New Mexican music, mariachi, traditional Latin music, cumbia, flamenco, rockabilly, country and blues. The performances are intended to give Balloon Fiesta visitors an opportunity to experience Albuquerque’s local culture after morning balloon events conclude.
Opening day performances on Oct. 3 will include Divino, Mariachi Albuquerque, and Baila! Baila!.
Additional performers scheduled throughout the week include:

- Black Smoke Blues Band
- Vicente y La Nueva Faze
- Spanish Broom
- Drive-In Delinquents
- La Ansiedad Norteña
- The Danny Duran Band
The performances are free and open to the public.
City officials say the music series is designed to complement Balloon Fiesta activities while encouraging visitors to explore Old Town’s shops, galleries, restaurants and museums.
