SANTA FE, N.M. — The New Mexico Medicaid Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Drug Utilization Review Committee will hold their regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 13, to discuss prescription drug coverage and pharmacy-related issues within the state’s Medicaid program.
The virtual meeting will begin at 8 a.m. Mountain Time and will be conducted through Microsoft Teams. State officials say the meeting is open to the public.
According to the announcement, the committees review matters related to Medicaid prescription medications, drug utilization, and the state’s Preferred Drug List. Meeting agendas will be made available through the New Mexico Health Care Authority prior to the meeting.
Members of the public who wish to attend may do so virtually through Microsoft Teams or by telephone.
Officials also noted that accommodations are available for people with disabilities who wish to participate. Requests for auxiliary aids or services must be submitted by Oct. 6.
The quarterly meeting is part of the state’s ongoing review process for pharmacy benefits and prescription drug programs available through Medicaid.
