Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque jury has convicted a woman on First Degree Murder charges for the torture and beating death of a man in 2024. Virginia Nicasio, was on trial in connection with the deaht of Antonio Taylor.
Court documents showed that Nicasio was involved in a drug operation and believed Taylor had stolen from her and her accomplice identified as Preston Ball, to kidnap, torture and beat Taylor.
Ball has already pleaded guilty for his role in the crime. Nicasio now faces a minimum of 30 years in the New Mexico Corrections Department.
