Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –46 traffic fatalities were reported in New Mexico in August, a 28% increase from July according to data from the New Mexico Department of Transportation and the University of New Mexico. Bernalillo County once again led the way with 8 traffic fatalities in August, followed by Dona Ana and San Juan counties, each having four fatalities.
