Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – 35-year old Brandon Stockman, a student at Central New Mexico Community College, will remain in jail after his arrest for allegedly making threats to shoot up the campus after a professor told him he was failing a class according to court documents.
Prosecutors want to keep Stockman in custody, which a judge will decide later at a pre-trial detention hearing, he remains without bond in jail today.
A campus security guard said he first stopped Stockman on campus, and that Stockman agreed to hand over his backpack and gun allegedly telling the security guard he had the gun because he had been caring for his 5-year-old son and wanted to keep the gun in a safe place.
