Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – The New Mexico Truth Commission presented a 119-page interim report documenting allegations of abuse and activities tied to Jeffrey Epstein at his ranch Santa Fe County.
” It’s the first time any government has documented what is known about Epstein and what he did in our state,” the commission said.
According to the report, Epstein’s Zorro Ranch employed 50 people and had an annual payroll of $7 million.
The report also stated that, while Epstein was a convicted sex offender, he was never made to register as a sex offender in New Mexico due to a loophole in state law. According to documents, there is no evidence that any law enforcement agency searched the Zorro Ranch.
Truth Commission Chairwoman, Representative Andrea Romero of Santa Fe stated, “What we’ve seen is there may have been preferential treatment to Epstein as he came and went to New Mexico”
The final report from the commission will be released at the end of the year.
