Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — An Albuquerque man facing a murder charge for shooting and killing another man was sentenced to 24 years in prison on today. Police said Deomtray Davis shot and killed a bystander during a fight in April 2025. According to authorities, Davis witnessed his friend getting in a fight near the corner of Indiana and Central. Davis then fired a shot at one of the people involved in the fight, the bullet passed through the man’s arm and hit a bystander in the head. The victim was identified as 39 year old Brian Miller, who was found dead at the scene. Davis was charged with second degree murder and tampering with evidence
