Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Funeral arrangements have been set for Taos County Sergeant Joseph Apodaca. Apodaca died in an on-duty crash on Friday. The service will be held at Taos High School’s gymnasium this Saturday beginning at 10am. Taos County Sheriff Steve Miera said, “Sergeant Joseph Apodaca dedicated his life to protecting our community with honor, integrity and compassion. He was not only a respected leader within our Sheriff’s Office, but also a trusted colleague and friend to many.” Sgt. Apodaca’s patrol unit is currently stationed in front of the Taos County Sheriff’s Office for those who’d like to pay tribute before the service.
