Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Electric vehicle fast chargers are now in place at the Albuquerque International Sunport. The new chargers are located at the Sunport’s cellphone waiting lot. The units are capable of charging an EV from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes. Charging is available for 30 cents per kilowatt-hour. The city has plans to install 18 additional chargers at locations across the Sunport as well as at the Double Eagle II general aviation airport.
