Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque police detectives are investigating a shooting in the Northeast heights that happened around 5:00 AM. According to reports, officers responded to calls of a shooting in the area of Central Ave and Tramway Blvd NE. Upon arrival, they found one person with gunshot wounds on the scene. Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews responded and treated the victim who was taken to the hospital. The last report we received from APD was that the person was in stable condition..
Police are searching for the offender who took off from the scene. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
